I must have been away from comics for too long because I have never heard of Sentry until now.From wikipedia, Sentry first came into existence around 2000 so this is not an "age old debate.". I stopped reading comics in 1998/1999 when the Gen 13 craze wound down.
My thoughts on Sentry. First, complete Superman rip off, no doubt about it. He looks like Ken from Barbie with a redneck belt buckle with a capital "S" on it.
I voted for Superman because if Sentry and Superman ever get into it, then Doomsday will direct the asteroid he is imprisoned to back to earth to tag team and kill Sentry. Doomsday is the only one who can beat Superman to near death and Doomsday don't like no Ken dolls with long hair and belt buckles.
