I don't think it is really fair to contrast the Molyneux and Crytec statements, the Crytec statements are about graphics power/ability while Molyneux seems to be more talking about 'general limits' which is mushy enough to be interpreted anyway one likes. I am sure he would define the new limits as having access to Kinect for instance.
So while I do generally think Molyneux is a bit of a windbag, well this is another one of his empty claims, but it is not necesarilly correct to contrast it to the Crytek claim, as he is not being concrete enough for us to say he is talking about graphical improvements.
