The original game never runs worse than the pirated version, unless there's DRM problems (which I never heard of Starcraft 2 having)
Besides, Starcraft 2 without multiplayer is like driving without a car, just senseless.

what i mean is the pirated version works on my laptop at the highest settings, while the original version doesnt. and some how some way the pirated version which im buying has multiplayer. if it didnt i woudnt even consider getting it :P. only reason im not getting it original is because of its high price. im ok with 60$ buy 80$ is to much for a pc game, ps3 games here are 70$ i dont know why starcraft 2 shoudnt be.

I never heard of a pirated version with multiplayer. They'd have to own many servers for the leagues data alone. Without the leagues, the multiplayer loses most of it's appeal. And what about the updates?
Another thing is, Starcraft 2 is a game that will go for at least a decade. Competitive gaming will be almost entirely concentrated on Starcraft 2. Paying an extra $10 for a game that will last you 10 years is definitely better than paying the same price for Assassin's Creed, which only lasts a week.
Starcraft 2 is also 60 euros where I live, which is also around $78. I won't stop me buying it this or next month.
