Instead of telling the girl the truth and giving her closure in the situation you want to string her along and let her think there is a chance in the future for her to get with your friend. I met a girl in 7th grade and we were good friends until we graduated. She told me before we went to college that if I asked, she would marry me. I knew I would never marry her and I told her straight up. I honestly cried because I lost a dear friendship and I missed her and she was hurt. 6 years later she marries another guy and now we are hanging out again. These situations suck but you have to deal with it and not give her the run around. A bunch of people in this thread have said to be honest and you ignore those posts. Man up and take responsibility. |
On the contrary, I wanna devise a plan so she doesn't get such an ideea. He most likely will have to lose her as a friend anyways, as it's the best way to get rid of a possible impediment in staying closeted (the impediment being Pam). And are you actually saying that he should tell her he's bi and has a boyfriend???
