Pot of Greed is argueably one of the most broken cards in the game. you see "draw 2 cards" means that you can turn the tables around very easily if you have a well constructed deck.
Brain Control steals your opponet's monster for a OTK (One turn Kill) Syncro summon, and tributing a monster for a measly pay of 800 lifepoints.
Same goes for Change of Heart, but worse.
Limited is you can only have 1, and semi limited is 2.

What's a Syncro Summon?
Here's what I got from the anime:
Brain Control lets you control a monster for 800 LP.
Change of Heart for one turn. How's that broken. -_-

No wonder you think brain control, or change of heart isn't broken. It's mostly because of syncro summons! Think of it as a fusion summon with no polmeryzation, no monster materials, and Crazy monsters.
Here is an example. I use change of heart to take your gemini elf. I summon a lvl.2 tuner (lvls are important for syncro summons). I throw those two monsters away to special summon a 2800 atk point monster with a built in monster reborn (Goyo Guardian).
