I say go for RDR. I don't have the PS3 version, but I'm really enjoying the game on my 360. I didn't enjoy GTAIV that much either as well, but RDR is really good. The Western theme really adds to it as well.
Dragon Age and Fallout 3 are also good, but if you want those it would probably be better to go for the PC versions as they are better than the console versions.
