and for those who need to know the cars you can choose from, go here

http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/forum/showthread.php?t=33712

GT5 has 10,000 cars?

Oh wow, I didn't even notice that really dumb part in the list xD I didn't go past the first post, since that showed that it was a pretty unreliable source, but to actually put 10K cars...I mean, not even PC games with a huge amount of mods reach that high a number

lol my bad guys, I jsut did a quick search and found that :P my bad

10k cars will be GT7

The amount of space that would take for a game to have that amount of cars would be staggering. It would mean that GT7 would come in a separate HDD

Buhahaha isn't that whole point of changing gens tho...Blu Ray kicks ass storage wise compared to last gen, give it two gens (who knows maybe even but doubt it) they will have something for sure

Oh, I don't doubt that in two gens we will have massive mediums in which to store data easily and with cheap costs. But we also have to remember that in two gens, the amount of work and space that one car will take is going to also be much more than it is today.

That's why I said that even PC sims with a high number of mods don't even reach that number, because it would take a huge space and time to do so xD.

and every console will have a 500G hardrive

I kinda hope that in two gens from now, we will have bigger standard HDD than 500 GB for consoles. 500 GB HDD are cheap to find for the PS3. Since two gens from now will mean at least another 10 years, I hope that we will be at least on the TB scale for console HDD.

Sorry if I'm being the Buzz Killington for this debate
