Just my 2 cents on this topic.
I don't care whether you find the $60 justifable or not. I don't care whether you're happy to pay $60 or even higher for XBL.
The fact is, the price has been increased and no matter what, increasing prices is never a good thing.
Let's just take an example. Let's say you're in love with an Subscription Based MMO and you've been happy with a $20 per month subscription and then one day it get's increased to $30 per month. Now sure you may not even care whether it's $50 per month or something or don't mind a increase in price, but you can't say it's a good thing.
If Sony wants us to pay $50 per year for PSN for the PS4, then I'd do it. But if one day they decided to increase it to $60 per year, I'd still do it but I definitely would not be happy or think that $60 for PSN is justifiable and hence find it a positive thing.
That is all I have to say about this.
