I'm more interested, if this gen does last longer, how people might view the higher Live vs ever cheaper console prices and whether Live might start to seem expensive in ratio to the initial console investment as a result. I doubt it'll see more than a few actually quit the sevice myself. |
Seriously, for an extra $10 a year, the only people who would quit the service would be those who have stopped using their Xbox anyway (or rarely play online) or those who will quit out of spite or general principle, not that MS ever claimed the price of XBL Gold wasn't subject to readjustments or change.
Sure, it's less than an extra $1 a month, but nobody likes paying more for the same service.
