I predict: Final Fantasy Versus XIII will be announced for XBox 360 at next year's E3. 2012 multi-platform release. FFXIII on XBox 360 has been a success and will sell over 2 million sales on the 360. Japan version of FFXIII will soon be launched and it should help bring home another 400k sales. Porting a game splits the development costs and boosts sales and profits from the extra game sales. Final Fantasy XIV appearing as on the 360 has not been ruled out.
360 is doing well to compete with the PS3 despite having less than one third the amount of exclusive games as Sony and PS3. Sony has a lot of overhead costs with all its one and two party development studios.
360 remains the preferred console for the third party developers to develop multi-platform games instead of the complicated PS3.
