Seems like my post got lost...such a shame and I put so much time into it.

Naznatips, you're wrong about Tales rarely pushing the systems graphical capabilities:

Tales of Phantasia is considered one of the best looking games on the SNES.

Tales of The Innocence on the DS simply looks beautiful.

Tales of The World: Radiant Mithology on the PSP uses the same engine as Tales of The Abyss, a PS2 game. And it looks awesome of course.

That doesn't seem to be the trend with ToS: KoR (which IS a spin-off, and here's the proof: In recent canon Tales of titles, the trailers usually begin with "next Tales of...". Does the ToS: KoR begin with that? No? Ok, there you have it), but since Tales of Vesperia is a canon Tales of game, it most likely pushes the system's capabilities like Phantasia or Innocence.

Anyway, I really want it on Wii for the higher possibility of it coming to America. I'll buy the system it's for regardless of the price, but if it doesn't come to America...that could be a problem (yes, even if it's PS3 without region lock, I want to understand the storyline which I always enjoy in Tales of games)

Naznatips, I can sense that you don't like Tales of games that much, am I right?

Tales of Phantasa was a good looking game because of it's art. Not it's technical prowess. Tales of Innocence is absolutely pushing the DS, but it's also had the longest production cycle of any Tales game ever... reported at over 2 years. Tales of the World does not look good for a PSP game ( http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpagesscreens/934090.asp?screenid=3 ) . Tales of the Abyss looked bad for a PS2 game, and Tales of Symphonia was average looking for a gamecube game.

Tales of Symphonia: KoR is not a spinoff. It's a mothership title. The tales roadmap for early spring shown earlier in this topic shows this very clearly. The big bubbles represent systems with Mothership titles. As the only Tales game on the Wii, the fact that the Wii bubble was large represents absolute proof that Tales of Symphonia: KoR is a mothership title. Thus not a spinoff. Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology on the other hand was an escort title (spinoff).

I don't dislike the Tales series... I take each game for what it is. I loved Tales of Symphonia, but I despise Tales of Eternia, Tales of the Abyss, and all the Tales of the World Spinoffs. I recognize that Tales, like Final Fantasy, is a series with some good games and some really bad games. Even if its fans sometimes can't see that. Tales is not a series known for pushing the consoles its on, and Tales is a milked series whether you like it or not. I will play the game if it's good. I won't if it's not. It's as simple as that.
