Why do some Sony fans sometimes think that the PS3 doesnt compete against the Wii. Oh cuz its not HD? Oh cuz its casual vs high end?

The Wii is kicking the crap out of Sony (and MS) in Japan. Yes they fucking compete. Everytime a consumer spends Wii money its money that Sony or MS is not getting.
Im guessing the Sony Defense Force sees no hope in competing against the unstoppable Wii, so they just make up some weak BS that its not the same market and then focus their fanboyism on the 360, which they actually have a hope of gaining on.
Its the same BS that the "360 doesnt compete against the Wii". Yes they fucking do. The only difference is the Wii60 phenomenon came about because the 2 systems seemed to actually complement each other. In terms of games, and price, getting both was actually affordable by many gamers.
Saying the PS3 doesnt compete against the Wii is just a weak cop out line used after one year of getting the ass beat. Just eat it.
(by the way, I do believe the PS3 will make huge gains this year. It wont be domination, but it wont be anywhere near as far behind as it is now. End of 08 will be a much closer battle)
