Do some research into the Ottoman Empire and some of the conquests of the Caliphates. Its a naive take on history to think that the west were the only imperialists and that everything has always been a one way street. The idea that all the problems in the middle east and muslim countries in general is the fault of the west is just rediculous. Of course the west has done a lot of bad, but it certainly isn't the only culprit.
EDIT and 911 was an inside job? Right....
