I agree with the statement. As for LeoJ, I'd basically say that's all fine and good, but there are also better digital music players than an Ipod, better Smartphones than the Iphone from a tech standpoint. But that doesn't really mean shi*.

The Move will be like the Zune compared to the Ipod..if its lucky. Kinect..I don't know why people think its going to be a success. All I know is that historically, add on periphs, especially this late in the game really has a lot of things working against them.

I wish em luck, but if I were a betting man, I'd wager this statement by ubisoft will be considered clairvoyant in the years to come.

that's the problem..these are not add on's they are new development platform's for their system. an add on does not in the core sense offer develope's a new platform with new tool's to make game on.

that i think is one of the reason's many are seeming to overlook, the way that the Move and kinect are designed is for game development as a

new Platform for Games not just to add to an existing game, can the control be added sure, does it mean it will work great, that depends in life it pretty much anything, The point being there are games being classed as KINECT GAMES, OR PLAYSTATION MOVE GAMES..that like saying if it was just an add on why off a new game controller at all, they game could work fine on a game pad that you already have.

Its offered because as is shown by the Wii as great proof, not every game feel's like a standard game pad is better suited for it. like bowling every one of these motion control system's have bowling in one shape or form..why a bowling game work's just fine with the standard game pad..so why use it?

it's simple the action of the motion of bowling with a motion controler is more natural because of the design of the real life game of bowling. does the pad work. yes you bet it does

but does the motion control's for a bowling game fell better used with motion over a standard game pad many will say yes. you can disagree but that's the big point in it is that it's the feel of the games interactivity with the motion that makes it more attractive in how the games experience is conveyed to the gamer.

What? Of course it does. Any add-on in the past allowed developers to do new things, often as if it were a new platform. EyeToy was like that, the N64DD (for the brief time it existed) was like that, the Sega CD, Sega 32X, Jaguar CD, PC Engine CD, were all the definition of new platform bound to an old one.
