Yes well, my point being that people are going to think Move = Wii, unless Sony make an effort to change that perception. People aren't going to try and find out more about a product if they're not interested in the first place, and they're not going to be interested in it if they think it's very similar to Wii. Thus making it Sony's mission to make sure people know what Move is and what makes it stand apart from the competition. Consumers aren't obligated to go and learn about a product they think doesn't interests them. That's Sony's job. And like I said, so far they haven't been doing a good one, what with the physical form of the device and its games. To the general public, Move = Wii, whether you, me, or Sony likes it or not. |
and how do you do that run TV ad's day an night talking about how much you motion control's differ from the Wii?
it's Simple you cannot do it anyway by that mean's because perception is based on people's idea what they think it is not what it is..for instance i asked you a Question : if someone stated to you that the playstation Move is a clone of the Wii mote or Wii motion plus would you correct them or let it slide?
you did not answer that Question.
which mean's you agree with that it's a clone or you do not care to correct wrong information spread about a system. like this developer stated that the Wii is a referbished Game cube and if someone said that would you correct that or would you let is slide?
you see it is all about perception. something your not going to change unless people learn they won't change their perception. that's why in this case Sony is letting the games speak for themselves..I have seen quite a number of people state that the Move is not offering anything more than the Wii or Wii motion plus.
that's their opinion and i can respect that , that does not mean their right.
