Getting the mail was actually the most exciting part of my day. I got my US Passport finally, and i got a letter all the way from Tokyo, from a girl who sent a postcard to my Japanese teacher back in Spring requesting a pen-pal. I responded in May, but snail mail must have taken forever. She responded by air mail, and i got a letter today dated August 22nd.
There's an outside possibility it might be a scam, given that she requested a photo and my date of birth, but the language barrier might be making it sound shadier than it actually is. Also because she felt the need to claim that she was non-profit (o_O)
Then i wrote fan-fiction. Always fulfilling.
