I was joking which is why I put the smiley there.  But the statement is based on Game Informers own stats which stated how their front cover games have averaged a whole point higher than their overall average score.

well that makes sense doesn't it? 

Game Informer gets to play and see games LONG before anyone else does so why would they put games on their covers that they think may score low and be bad games?  Obviously they are goning to be putting the games on the cover that they see have the most potential.

I mean its common sense every gaming magazine is like that
