10$ diffrence in price of retail pc game vs hd console game is almost fully covered by not having to pay platform roalties to platform owner.
And I'm pretty sure $50 game sold through steam put's more money than any $60 game sol through retail chain. And the big guys like EA have their own online stores which means anything sold through them is fully going to them.
