sort of like the OLED technology cost has been since it's development smaller screen's are vastly cheaper but the larger the screen size the more expensive it is. but that is going to change in the future:

Yes that's what i'm assuming, i have plenty of time before i was realistically planning on upgrading anyway but when i do, i want the non-glasses required 3d tvs to be the standard. Reasonably priced would be great as well
