You really want to argue that Fox news and other right-wing tv shows and radio shows don't routinely incite anti-Muslim propoganda with cherry-picked quranic verses and repeatidly called this mosque a place for terrorist, a shrine to the terrorists on 9/11 etc? Do I need to find the youtube videos of Fox news anchors and others from when this controversy started, seriously? Sorry, but its not bs, its simply fact that this controversy became major news initially on right-wing outlets. The guy in the cab as well as this far lesser incident are all results of higher tensions related to this wider controversy. I think his job exemplafies this far more than anything, but this is being continously described as an Islam vs America issue so he acted out on probably pent up anger and hatred he already had for Muslims. This guy in the OP just needs a night to cool off and some education on Islamic beliefs as most of America does so we don't keep moving further into a larger internal conflict where a Muslim is akin to a witch of the dark ages. |
I dont care about fox news
but you are so nuanced until its a conservative and then you paint with the biggest paint brush you can find. Thats like saying all Muslims are terrorists, it sounds like it goes against everything you believe in
