It's sad thought that churches make stupid rules that's not in the bible just so that they could look "holy".  Stupid.

Shouldn't Paul be preaching against war?

When you write to individuals not in power, hard to discuss not going to war, because they don't have the power.  James write about why people have strife though:

1What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don't they come from your desires that battle within you? 2You want something but don't get it. You kill and covet, but you cannot have what you want. You quarrel and fight.
