You should be trying to prove your point because you stated a theory and should have evidence, as I have for my wildly unpopular ideas (based on history).
But you can't because your original post is little more than an empty conspiracy theory coupled with an apparent lack of understanding of what Nintendo wanted with the Wii--which was, again, not to be like Microsoft or Sony. And that includes cross-platform titles. A lot of the poor-quality games were partially Nintendo's fault since they didn't lead off with quality titles as examples for the Wii--they used a GameCube Zelda game and an unpolished tech demo packed in with the Wii. These things were a far cry from the system show pieces like Super Mario World, Pilotwings, Mario 64, and Pilotwings 64. Or, for that matter, Luigi's Mansion.
When other 3rd party companies saw that sub-par quality worked on the Wii, they went with sub-par quality.
And I think third party companies made plenty of profit on the HD systems considering how well 3rd party wares sell on those machines. They're all doing pretty well right now.
