PSEye has been around since the PS3's launch before the Eyepet even released. How do you people think those PSN Camera required games and Eye of judgement worked in 2007?
It's not the "Eyepet Camera". It's the "Playstation Eye". The successor to the Playstation 2's "Eyetoy". Eyepet is just another game that happens to use the PSEye.
As said above, the Wii uses an IR sensor bar which you place on top or infront of your Television. It's not a camera but it is 100% required.
