That would defeat the purpose of the Wii. It was never intended to be another "me-too" console like the GameCube was. Doesn't anyone remember why Nintendo made the Wii the system that it is? They didn't want it to be just another Xbox or Playstation.
This is what Nintendo planned, and the Wii has been successful because of it. If anyone wants those multi-platform games bad enough, they should jut get an Xbox360 or a PS3. Then you, too, can be disappointed by Resident Evil 5.
