My parents are Eastern Orthodox. They don't like people of other religions, including Catholics and Protestants. They don't consider Catholics and Protestants to be real Christians, and think they worship the devil or soemthing along the lines (and I'm not kidding about this). So I doubt they care what C.S Lewis said.

That's surprising. I thought about being an Eastern orthodox priest. My Orthodox priest mentor didn't mention that they were closed minded about other denomination. totally weird.

If you wanna be an Eastern Orthodox priest you should know that you can only get married before you become one. If you're already a priest you can no longer marry. And if you divorce you can't remarry.
As for the close minded thing, well you're in America. You guys probably have some washed down version of Eastern Orthodoxy over there.

I think we do have washed down version cause i was assured that I will be able to get married even after I become a priest. it's either washed down version, or Eastern Orothodox needs more priests - therefore make it more attractive.
