1. Graphics Matter 2. Gameplay matters. 3. Innovation matters. When nintendo made the Wii they thought. "Hey, let's create a console that seems innovative, but is just downright gimmicky." And so it was. A great ides, totally trashed by gimmicky ness. I think the Eye Toy has as much power to do most of the stuff the Wiimote/Nun-chuck has. And with the new one coming. I'd have to say... it has as much potential. When I say games, I mean 3rd party. When you say games, You mean 1st party. I hate the feel of the Wiimote. I'm sorry. It dont feel good in my hands. That was one reason I loved the GameCube. The WaveBird. One of the best controllers ever. I have always felt, Gameplay is the most imporant thing in a game. Gameplay goes right along with controls, wich fits nicely with the controller. Next I feel is graphics. Because even if RedSteel had perfect gameplay. (it didnt, it was horrible). I still sould have problems with because the graphics gave me migranes. Every game I have bought for the PS3, I felt was 'decent' at worst. I have not felt ripped off ONCE with ANY ps3 games. Some arent great games, but most are at least decent. How come most reviewers are giveing most of the VC games less than a 6. They understand the games are old, and are reviewing them for what they are meant to be. Yet their almost ALL below 6. Why is that? Unless nintendo is ressurecting crap. How about games like the RedSteel, and FarCry. Why were they even on the Wii. Nintendo should have said NO. It only makes the system look bad. Speaking of the devil, the Wii has the worst 'rated' games of all 3 next gen consoles. It has almost 40 games. Yet, almost 20 of them are below a 7. and only like 10 are above 8. How come the PS3 dosent even have 20 games out yet, and have so few games below 7. and almost as many above 7 as the Wii. On a percentage, the wii has horrible games. You cant deny it. There are games coming for the Wii that shouldnt have been released. Now, I look at Sonic the same way for the PS3. It should have remained in the 360 graveyard. My main point on that is, Why does the Wii get so many games that are horrible. Virtual console games NOT included... 5.5, 4.0, 6.0, 5.8, 4.5, 8.2, 7.3, 7.2, 7.6, 4.0, 8.3, 4.0, 4.5, 7.5, 7.4, 6.8, 6.5, 4.8, 3.0, 5.1, 4.0, 6.8, 8.3, 6.0, 8.5, 9.5, 8.3, 7.0, 8.0, 7.7, 8.4, 8.0, 7.5. That is 33 games. 216/33=6.54 The average Wii game... is a 6.54 Or as IGN would say. "Passable" PS3 has 8.8, 4.2, 7.0, 7.8, 8.3, 7.8, 3.2, 8.5, 8.3, 8.3, 7.9, 7.9, 6.5, 8.6, 8.2, 7.8, 9.1, 7.0, 6.0. 141.2/19=7.4 If you want power. The PS3 has it. If you want games. The PS3 has it. If you want innovation. The PS3 has it. Where is my logic flawed? Stop saying stupid stuff. PS: All these numbers are from IGN. Look them up yourself.
