I think they should have probably had the game ready this year for the slow summer months. That way it could have been sony's big and most complete shooter this year since mag is multiplayer only.
Next year they are going to have to compete with other sony shooters like Killzone 3 and Socom which Sony is probably going to throw more support and backing behind since they actually own guerilla games and zipper interactive studios in addition to the ips.
But I guess it's good for gamers since they will have more offerings to choose from in 2011.
