Oh wow, are you me? At least for the first three. I'd say my favorite ones are FFXII, FFX and FFVIII in that order. o__O
And just so I don't contradict with what I wrote before, I think in FFX, while being a linear game as much as FFXIII, the characters were a lot more interesting to me and that made the story interesting. Also, haters are going to hate, but Tidus was a lovable little fella! You wanted him to succeed, get to the end. And the gameplay was fresh with the Sphere Grid, even if it was turn-based. At least everything was fast, from battle starts to the actual moves happening. It could take 1 or 2 minutes easily.
FFVIII had a great battle system with the GF and Magic. I also really loved the setting with the Gardens. Plus, Triple Triad added so much stuff to do in the game (especially Squall only games or just so you can build up other GF's moves before getting Cactuar so you can make the characters build to their max potential with the HP bonuses and all from other GFs being equipped as well... anyways...!!).
The endgame in FFXIII looks interesting so far though. I'd say it's probably worth it for anyone that likes the battle system and grinding in this game... too bad it took me about 60 hours of corridor-travelling to get there though.
