This is good news, playing PE1 on my PSP would be awesome. I didn't like part 2, felt like somebody stuck RE2 in PE with the clunkyness of the movement at all. Anybody else feel like part 2 was a complete let down?

Here, but only in the gameplay part, because I loved the battle system in PE1. It's one of my favourite RPG battle systems, and I loved how Vagrant Story improved upon it

Story Wise, PE2 was very, very good to me

I see, well I can't talk much about the story as I didnt play much of it. I stopped playing it as I couldn't stand the battle system. After going through PE1 again and just loving the battle system, to have to play that clunky mess of a battle system in part 2 was a horrible experience.

It took me a quite period of adaptation myself, I had a bit of trouble getting through the first CD. Once I got "used" to it, it was a bit easier to digest.

But anytime that I did a playthrough in PE2, I always went back to PE to play that marvel

I on the other hand have finished PE1 only 2ce. 1 normal playthrough and one through chrysler building. In comparison, I've finished PE2 closing on 40 times and as recently as about 3 weeks ago! I've never played a game with more replay value than PE2.

I agree that PE2 has far more replay value than PE1, mainly because of the different difficulty modes, end rankings and rewards. It's pretty amazing to do a run using only the Gunblade or the Hyperlaser xD

But PE1 does have it's replay value as well, mainly to get insanely high stats weapons and armour Nothing beats a weapon with 999 on attack, burst, x3 Action and Freeze
