ther will nevr be one direction for FF

evry FF is different, deal wth it.

for me FFX-2 and FF12 made me hate FF, FF13 hs made me luv the series again. FF12 problem ws it ws jst boring, th story, characters, music, battle sistem. All boring. one gud thng FF12 had was its setting, it felt like playng old FF.

your absolutly right, there should not be 1 direction for FF.

but this is my problem, Kitases used the same direction for the series for the last 10 years. FF8, 10, 10-2, and FF7 Compliation (Advent Children, Dirge of Cerberus) have been the going in the same direction because of him, Nojima and Nomura. the problem i have is that they've become increasingly reliant on using cutscenes and less gameplay, until this point: FF13. and when FF12 went in a different direction the developers could not fulfil its potential because of the direction that Kitase has taken.

i agree with what you've said. on some levels FF12 was boring, there were far too many expanses at the beginning. FF13 team got it partly right with linear design, it  allows you to have more focus on the story and characters. and again, the beginning of the game shouldnt have been based around Vaan and Penelo, that was not the orignal vision of the game, which is why the story never had much or anything to them.

i know you dont like it akibafan, you dont have to, but maybe if you saw all the cutscenes on youtube, or vgheaven (i think) you would appreciate the way the game was made.
