Imagine that a foreign country paid and trained a group of people to stage a coup in your democratic country. Wouldn't you be asking for their heads too? Because that's what the US did in Iran 1953.
Years later, that puppet government was overthrown, and replaced by an islamist republic, who wasn't fond of the former dictator and the people who funded him.
Ever wonder why nobody calls for 'Death to the Swiss and the Finnish?' It has to do with leaving other countries alone. The US hate doesn't come from religion in this case: it comes from plain politics.
