Retook the test, and I have moved toward the bottom left. I'm now -5.12, -5.49. The move doesn't surprise me, given all the thinking I've done about politics in the last 2 years since I took the test. I noticed I was answering several questions "strongly agree" or "strongly disagree" where I would have omitted the "strongly" previously.
I still don't like the way some questions are worded. For example, "Making peace with the establishment is an important part of maturity." Well, I think becoming well-adjusted to society and learning basic principles like work ethic, politeness, obeying laws, etc. is important, but I also think that critically analyzing these aspects, and especially one's own government, and not being afraid to challenge (peacefully) these things is also very important.
The other question I didn't like was "I'd always support my country, whether it was right or wrong." Well, that depends a great deal on what you mean by "support my country" (support it how?) and what you mean by "the country" being right or wrong. The president being wrong? The government in general? Most of the people being wrong?
The religion and sex pages are still the easiest. "Strongly" answers for all of those. :)
