Where do you stand politically?

Even though I find Leo Strauss writings interesting and somewhat amusing, I have a hard time to give in to become a subject to metaphysical projections of a "nation" or absolute morals. I can understand that one wants to fill the absence of absolutes with some kind of guidelines as a purpose in itself though. That is how I relate to "nations"
