IMO Bill Shorten or Greg Combet a union heavy was needed instead of Kevin Rudd who has been proven to be a spineless coward. Union heavy hit man as PM would of been awesome. Workers rights protectionist leader: Gillard is a Unionist and a union lawyer but she lacked a central message.
Tony Abbott is the hit man from the hard right Pro-corporations: HR Nicholls Society and all its anti-worker political/economic ideology. Abbott is nothing more than an union buster.
Both sides ran campaigns with a lack of policies and two negative smear campaigns. Abbott was more negative and offered little as an alternative PM.
