There is all this complaining about " no exploration/ its too linear. When really all those complaints are just trying to find something to complain about. Sure there isn't very much, especially compared to other Final Fantasy titles, however different is not bad. I think the battle system was by far one of the funnest and most engaging one i have ever played, thus being one of my favorites. Anyways, i think the game was a masterpiece for sure and gets a little unfair criticism |
Most people who don't like the game are not just trying to find something to complain about. Most of us here grew up on FF and love the franchise. Nobody pays $60 for a game just to complain about it. I really, really wanted to enjoy the game, and I played through it in its entirety and gave it every chance to impress me, but 80 hours later, it hasn't impressed me and there were many aspects of the game that I didn't like. It's not unfair criticism, it's criticism based on my experience with the game. Just because you think it's a masterpiece, it doesn't mean that anyone who disagrees is being unfair to the game. I openly admit that I'm a FF fanboy, and it's a sad day that I have to admit that FFXIII just didn't do it for me like the previous entries in the franchise.
