As far as hardware goes, I think Samsung and Sony will drop out and concentrate on Android.
For carriers, Verizon might be out, due to fucking up the whole Kin thing.
Taking out copy and paste is pretty much a shit move.
They have gone more towards the casual mobile market. They have taken away features from the business side of the old Windows Mobile versions.
I will miss multi-tasking, even though the hardware previously used was shit and couldn't handle the OS well. Windows Mobile has always been too advanced for the hardware that runs it. Windows 7 looks the other way around. I would love to have the functionality of 6.5 with the GUI and hardware of 7.
XBL intigration, Achievements on the go, Zune, Bing Navigation and Netflix streaming are the most appealing features.
All in all, I'm buying it day one. Can't wait to see what models come out from the phone manufatures. I might move away from HTC this time, they overlay their own custom GUI over the WinMo OS, making the phone run slower than it should. My Tilt 2 is all banged up and struggling to stay alive, can't wait to get rid of it.
