I mean hell, Alien Swarm was originally a mod for a game done with the tools that came with the game (or CS, or TF, or DOTA etc. etc.). I highly, HIGHLY doubt anything that comes out of LBP2 will be anything even close to any of those mods. I really don't see how this is so praise worthy at all. It's a very "meh" editor in terms of capability when compared to other tools out there. |
Ok, i agree with to an extent but your idea of level editor and development kit are wrong, having tried both things i can safley say lbp's level editor is probably the most easily accesible but the thing is its not for making mods, it for making levels things that people will play, and if they like will play again, then the ideas will most likely get passed on. Now compare a level to a mod, your paragraph sounds stupid, really stupid. And i own agaming pc and i love it just as much as my ps3.
