MH3's going to have outsold FFXIV by like 5 to 1. Both are basically MMOs, and both require a monthy subscription for that. Hell, every MH game that requires a subscription (MH, MHG, MH2, MHG Wii) outsold FFXI in Japan too, bar MHFO, and it will soon enough. The last full MH without a subscription (MHP2G) outsold the last full FF without a subscription (FFXIII) by 2 to 1. MoHun's definitely a bigger IP in Japan at this point. |
FF11 was plagued by delayed releases and PS2's not being so connected.it is not the same now
and hell why the hell are you comparing Portbale MH with FF games.you try to find as many ways to prove your point and still fail

Actually. More people played ff11 online with the 360 than the free PS2 service. So that statement is a moot subject. But regardless. Considering the hugely dissapointing sales on both a Sony and M$ console of FF11 M$ wont bother with it. The sales were a waste of time for FF11. |
did you even follow my statement, just came bashing around
FF11 was played but you didn't have to pay 2 fees then, now they are demanding it and MS doesn't want to allow it now

Read the OP. The game originally started as a 360/Vista project codenamed "Requiem" too, pretty easy to google sources for that. Resumes leaked existence of a 360 version being well into development too. It went way farther than just talks, at least it did at one point. |
yes it was a PC/360 project but 360 development has no proof, they could have never even touched it as they would first be making PC version and then when they went to MS they got rejected so there is a possiblity they never started

nobody knows how far it went
maybe they never started but were developing the PC version and then went to PS3 cause MS wasn't allowing them
it was just started as PC/360 but 360 development has no proof

Beside, I wasnt able to find any information on project "Requiem", let alone one that would come from either MS or square. To my knowledge the first time FF 14 was announce (E3) it wasnt announce on 360. It always been the same speech from square enix since then, that they are looking with MS. Now, I would be glad to learn more, can you point me to the sources of information you and selnor have? Also, if its a resumee "worked on project "requiem" for 360/vista", I would like to know what makes assume its FF14. Even if it doesnt come from square or MS themselves im open as long at it makes enough sense. |
it was never announced as a 360/PC but when it started development some leaks said that it was a 360/PC project
they would have been developing PC first and then MS rejected them for hte 360 version so they went on PS3 and announced it E3 2009
