Actually, MH's bigger at this point, at least in Japan.  MHFO already sold almost as much as FFXI PS2 in Japan too (125k to 150k), and FFXI was simultaneous PC/PS2, while MHFO came years later than the PC version.  MH3 is the best selling game in Japan to ever carry a subscription fee, and afaik it's actually the only Japanese developed subscription based game to ever sell over a million worldwide.

Capcom saying they met expectations on something means they probably did.  They're not Sony, they don't have a track record of distortion like Sony, so that's not really relevant to anything.

MH is still small on consoles even in japan

but is that 125k-150k worth it for developing on 360

don't even compare to FF11 as we know that the online conditions were then and MHFO 360 wouldn't have cost as much as FF14 360 wold

track record of distortion by sony? - hater

hell capcom's expectations would be low and hence they would have met it.FF14 is a big title

just comparing those two is foolish

A million seller, and the best selling Japanese subscription based game in history, is small?  Do you expect FFXIV to sell over a million in Japan? ;)

And you're the one who brought up Sony's questionable self evaluations, for some inexplicable reason. - self loather

Comparing the two is more than appropriate.  Both are subscription based MMOs, only Capcom managed to get theirs on 360 and Square evidently can't...

i don't know what FF14 will sell but it will atleast do better than MHFO

I DIDN'T BRING ANY SONY QUESTIONAL EVALUATIONS

hell you just don't understand.MS paid both SE and cpacom

SE to bring FF11 and that time they offered to cut XBLG subscription and then to get FF13

for Capcom to allow them some XBLG discount and making relations with them

but now when MS is settled they don't want to compromise, the question

will MS do the same for the capcom partnership now that they are settled in the future as they didn't do it for SE after getting the games they wanted

its foolish to compare FF14 to MHFO(an old games and which sells lower on consoles) and heck capcom expectations wouldn't be anywhere near SE's expectattions

Is it just me or doesn´t M$ want Xbox 360 gamers to interact with PS3 gamers?

I dunno. Didn't FFXI allow 360 and PS2 players on the same server?

Perhaps MS doesn't want to do that again.

Yes your right, it was allowed for FFXI.

Well considering they did it before its odd they are willing to let a game like this pass up the 360.

Perhaps there is more to this than we really know?

the only thing more is that they don't want two subsciptions wich will come in btw people subscibing for them and MS won't budge

it will go if MS makes LIVE free which SE wants

still think PS3 version will come in earlier even if 360 version announced

Xbox Live Silver is free and that is all you need to play an MMO.

no its not,

FF11 was just passed by MS because they wanted to get closer to SE

now that they have gotten FF13,they are not compromising again
