Change to standard processing architecture, so as to improve developer accessibility dramatically.
This generation, Sony made the move that lost them lots of 3rd party developers. Almost every developer chose there lead platfrom based on accessibility. This generation accessibility has proven itself invaluable to consumers, with the Wii taking the top spot, and invaluable to developers, with the 360 being taken as lead platform of multiplatform titles, over the PS3.
Bottomline, dumb things down. Make them easier, and more people, more developers. Will get involved. It's a little sad but it's something that appears to be true.
