Sony cant take USB ports out of the PS3 models, or else it would pretty much be a whole new system. Controllers, microphones and all other acesories charge in the USB. you wouldnt be able to transfer data into external drives ect. Only way they can combat this is by firmware updates, or maybe new chips in the ps3.from all the videos we've seen so far, it looks like its all been done on PHAT ps3 consoles. Maybe it doesnt work on the slims?
