So far yes.

S-E is depending on the sales results of this version to ponder whether to make a console version, so hopefully it will be successful. 

They really shouldn't be doing that, because in the West as its on PSP I doubt it'll do that well, Japan is another matter, lets hope its a massive success there. 

And that could mean we get a PS3 one!

Unfortunately that's the main issue facing 3rd Birthday right now. Other S-E games on PSP have been somewhat successful in terms of sales on the PSP, but the amount of downloads easily surpass the amount of sales. Dissidia had it the worst, with 5M downloads

I hope that 3rd Birthday doesn't suffer from this fate, but that's the most likely scenario. 

We can at least hope its a big success in Japan though, thats where piracy is the least I think.

Yup, but that might end in the next PE being released in JP only.
