No , not really. I hate the whole concept. I'm more hyped about move because it actually has games. GT5 , Killzone 3. That are some big hitters. I don't want to feed some retarded looking virtual pet. I can see kids playing it. But they all have Wii's. Also it's very hard to reach that audience. They don't google around to see some new gaming tech.
But I've got to admit , Microsoft does now how to hype things. 'The new way of gaming' ' Innovating control of you TV'. I don't see what could be easier to control my TV with , than with the remote. Only thing you have to do is pull your finger up , and push on a button.
MS also said it's for the HC's. But I haven't seen ANY hardcore games yet for Natal/Kinecht what ever.I also do think it won't be very attractive for parent's. Standing in the shop seeing :
-Wii combo with Wii Sports and some Mario game
-Ps3 with Move combo
-Ps3 combo with Uncharted 2 (Drake climbing a train)
-Xbox 360 pack with Kinect
-Xbox 360 pack with Marcus clising a Locust in half with blood everywhere.
I think they will go for the Wii...
But back to the actual question :
No not at all. I don't see anything really new to it or something that changes the way I control my TV/Media center/PC/Games. For what it does , it's to expensive and the lack of games is the worst thing. That you can't play it while sitting on your couch sucks to. I'm playing games to relax. Not to jump around in front of my TV to get into the next menu or start the movie.
