Has Sony screwed up their hopes for next gen?

If, for some reason, both the Wii2 and the 720 come in around the PS3's power (I'm VERY doubtful of Microsoft doing that), then Sony could get away with just adding more RAM and a better video processor to the PS3 and calling it the PS4. Hell, they'd even have some extra things to advertise: use your PS3 accessories and games, and have access to all the new PS4 games. Now comes standard with Move! But I really think they're going to need to retool a lot of things on a smaller level if they want to keep playing any sort of power game with MS. (Truthfully, I think the power game is chasing down the wrong road, but...)
