It's a great looking game, but I wouldn't put as a contender for anything, if anything it look's a bit better than Resistance 2, which also had similar looking environments, scale and that gun in the first pic look's suspiciously like a Carbine.
Selnor it's not cool to make list's based on graphical achievements without playing all the contenders. Basing your judgement on current and upcoming videos is hardly a fair way to come to a conclusion like that. Also, outside of the 60 FPS, I still can't see what's so impressive about Rage, every presentation they've shown has left me unimpressed, but I guess I'll wait until it releases.
Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.
