$170 is a stupidly small price considering what it's capable of doing. Buy it, rent loads of games, copy away. Even worse, tell your friends who own ps3's what you're doing then exchange games to copy.

The thing that has me most curious is the part where they mention games running with faster with less lag/glitches.

 

Pretty sure Sony's gonna jump on this really fast. It's just a matter of waiting to see how they fix the issue...


It will be a hard battle now they got the core stuff working in their hands. For those who don't play their PS3s online - so no firmware updates for them - are basically set now.

But even if they update the firmware so external drives aren't allowed anyomre I bet it will soon arise tons of tools so they can revert to previous settings like it happens with the Wii.
