I know because Gundam is a well establish franchise in Japan. You see how Dynasty Warriors: Gundam did in Japan.

I see this game doing 300k in Japan, just like its predeccesors from the PS2.

Dynasty Warriors: Gundam did poorly in comparison to other Gundam games. World wide it's the 20th best selling Gundam game. Some people can blame that on being a Dynasty Warriors hack and Slash type game... but DW is another franchise that's more popular than Naruto. 300K i'd consider optimistic considering the likely userbase difference between the PS2 and PS3 in japan. I'd guess more on the side of 200K myself, unless the gameplay ends up being a very clear step above previous naruto games.

Well we can agree on the 200k-300k, because this game isn't going to be released till sometime in late 2008. So buy that time the userbase in Japan should be 3 million hopefully.
