This is dumb and sets a bad precedent.

Game publishers have always shown the lead console in advertisements and then shown other consoles at the end. Does this mean the next Madden has to show 52 different ads?

If the games are intended to provide the same experience it shouldn't matter, whereas in Madden (so I used a poor example) it could be argued that the Wii version needs its own ad seperate from PS360 since there is deliberate difference in user experience.
