I personally think that at the start of the game, when you're on the operating table...

You will have a flashback. That flashback will last a fair few hours, will let you create your Shepard and play through all the main story elements of the Original. It can easily be completed within a few hours.

When the Flashback is over, with you defeating Saren/Sovereign... You choose whoever you want to be in control and the flashback ends, with you finally waking up.

The main storyline choices will be there for your save file to import over to the eventual Mass Effect 3 when it releases.

That's kind of an elegant solution, though the resource investment would be... substantial.

I rather like the idea, though I'm not sure if it fits with Christina Norman's statement that she's going to try to see that all three versions of ME2 are roughly equal.

Anyway:

No. They've had this game in planning for too long to let a port stop them, regardless of how that port is affected.

How are all three versions going to be roughly equal? There are going to be a plethora of references on the PS3 port that no one will understand (and no, a story recap only helps so much). I wouldn't be shocked if they went out of their way to make sure nothing from the first game had a serious impact on the third game to try to keep things as "fair" as possible, and it wouldn't be fair if they went back to plot points and events that people might not recognize because they haven't played the first game at all.
