is it the fact that the PS3 may not get ME 1 or is it more on the Future of the Mass Effect ip's future in general?

It's about the difference in experience for newcomers to the ME trilogy who only game on PS3. The lack of the first game makes quite a difference, as many have stated here.

Like I said, the extra content better compensate for the first game, but I don't have my fingers crossed, really.

ok, that's what i thought you were point too, just was not sure that is what you were talking about.

while i 100% agree that is one thing to worry about , I do not think it's going to be that far fetched for Bioware to make sure the game allows for fan's of the first one to be left with their first games efforts to be worthless. Stranger thing's have happened though, so I am not saying it would not be a problem or that it will be,I am just waiting on future info until we know more about it, i think it's kind of pointless to get all worked up over about it until we get more info.
